ARCO in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, budgeting, and financial reporting for multiple entities. You will work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and timely insights.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 1–3 years’ experience; advanced Excel skills and ERP exposure are essential. Public accounting is a plus; join a best‑place‑to‑work culture with strong benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 1–3 years’ related experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience with Viewpoint Software or equivalent ERP system.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Assist controller team in reconciling month-end reports to the general ledger.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Design and build Microsoft Excel pivot tables.
• Assist in reconciling bank accounts monthly.
• Work positive pay exceptions daily.
• Process expense report postings daily.
• Assist in intercompany cash reconciliations bi-weekly.
• Support ad hoc reporting for stakeholders.
• Assist in month-end close and financial statements preparation for multiple entities.
