Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Staff Accountant in the San Diego area to manage daily accounting operations, including AP/AR and reconciliations. You will create and process invoices in QuickBooks, tie payments to invoices, track expenses, and support collections in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2+ years of general accounting experience, and solid knowledge of GAAP, QuickBooks, and Excel/Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (or related field).
• 2+ years of general accounting experience — e-commerce or inventory a plus.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, QuickBooks, and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Organized, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and reconciliations.
• Create and process invoices in QuickBooks, ensuring billing accuracy.
• Tie payments to invoices, track expenses, and support collections.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.
