Job summary

Good Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our finance team in Souderton, PA. This role handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger tasks to keep financial processes running smoothly.

You will work closely with the finance team on month-end close, reporting, and compliance, while ensuring accurate documentation. We value detail-oriented professionals who can learn new systems and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Notary commission, or willingness to obtain one after hire.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and customer payments
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Manage payroll processing and related reporting
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other accounts
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Support tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Help with administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects as needed
