Job summary

OSC Global, LLC, located in Anchorage, AK, seeks a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and assist with government contracting requirements for federal programs.

The role emphasizes labor-intensive contract accounting, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations, collaborating with FP&A, contracts, and operations to deliver accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• At least one year in government contracting or public accounting.
• Current CPA or CMA certification, or active progress toward obtaining a CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, OSCG policies, government contracting requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
• Support DCAA audits and financial statement audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
