The role partners with project and operations teams to improve accounting processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, leases, and revenue recognition; analyze

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
At least four years of accounting experience.
Experience applying U.S. GAAP to transactions and issue resolution.
Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and audit-support schedules.
Proficiency with Excel and an enterprise ERP system.
Background and drug-screening requirements satisfied.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced general ledger accounting including entries, reconciliations, accruals, and revenue recognition per U.S. GAAP.
Analyze project-level results and communicate trends, variances, risks, and follow-up recommendations.
Support project setup for proper accounting treatment, revenue recognition, billing, and reporting.
Investigate and resolve unreconciled items and discrepancies in ledgers.
Coordinate corrections with stakeholders and reconcile project-ledger activity.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Document conclusions on complex accounting matters and assist audits.
Improve procedures and internal controls to ensure data integrity.
