CFS in Orlando is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, journal entries, and sales accounting for development projects. You will work with Accounting, Finance, Land Development, and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role emphasizes construction/project-based accounting exposure and offers a clear path for advancement within the accounting and finance function. Onsite, fully in the Orlando area, with bonus potential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with strong general ledger and month-end close exposure.
• Homebuilding, construction, real estate, or project-based accounting experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and supporting schedules while assisting with month-end close activities.
• Maintain sales-related accounting activity, including sales journal entries and transaction review.
• Perform balance sheet reconcilations, research variances, and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
• Partner with Operations and Land teams regarding purchase orders, invoice coding, expense reporting, and accounting inquiries.
• Support financial reporting, account analysis, credit card reconciliations, and special projects.
