Job summary

Traka Group, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is looking for a Staff Accountant in New Haven, CT. The role offers exposure to reporting, close and accounting operations across a global organization.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely financial close, support intercompany activity, fixed assets and leases, and contribute to audits and process improvements while developing technical accounting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and practical accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including knowledge of GAAP; proficient with Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive an accurate, timely close by analyzing accounts andResolving variances.
• Support intercompany activity, fixed assets and leases using OneStream for consolidation and reporting.
• Partner with business teams to investigate accounting issues and support finance, operations and shared-services.
• Assist audits, improve processes and controls, and contribute to accounting projects and improvements.
