Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in New Haven, CT is seeking a Staff Accountant to apply a solid accounting foundation and contribute to the month-end close. You will analyze accounts, resolve variances and ensure financial information is complete and reliable while partnering with finance teams.

This role offers exposure to intercompany activity, fixed assets and leases, with OneStream supporting consolidation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP with analytical problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative, detail-minded, able to meet deadlines and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive accurate, timely close by analyzing accounts and resolving variances.
• Support intercompany activity, fixed assets and leases using OneStream for consolidation.
• Partner with finance, operations and shared services to resolve issues and provide support.
• Assist audits, improve processes and controls, and contribute to accounting projects.
