ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in access solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in New Haven, CT. This role covers day-to-day accounting, timely month-end close support, and financial reporting to ensure the integrity of our results.

You will collaborate with business partners and audit teams on intergroup billing and loan activity, fixed assets, leases, and consolidation in OneStream, relying on a strong accounting foundation and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Strong foundation in accruals, reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, fixed assets, leases, and intercompany activity.
• Professional accounting experience supporting month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit requests.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation/reporting systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, OneStream, Hyperion, Power BI, or Business Objects.
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, large data analysis).
• Ability to retrieve, validate, and analyze information across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and maintaining accurate records.
• Support month-end close by preparing entries, posting, and reconciling within deadlines.
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts and follow up on reconciling items.
• Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests.
• Manage intergroup billing and review related accounting entries.
• Oversee intergroup loan accounting and reporting.
