ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in access solutions, seeks a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in New Haven, CT. The role centers on day-to-day accounting, timely month-end close, and robust financial reporting to ensure accuracy across the organization, including intergroup activities, fixed assets, leases, and consolidation work in OneStream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit requests.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/consolidation systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assist month-end close with postings, analyses, and reconciliations.
• Support external audits with documentation and auditor responses.
• Manage intercompany activity, intergroup billing and loan accounting postings.
• Handle fixed asset accounting, depreciation, disposals, and related reporting.
• Prepare lease accounting and reporting schedules; support consolidation efforts in OneStream.
