Job summary

Global Payments in Mexico City seeks an Accountant to deliver accurate month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting across global entities. You’ll drive financial integrity and partner with teams to improve processes.

A Bachelor’s in Accounting with up to two years of experience and strong Excel skills are required. You’ll join a collaborative finance group focused on reporting excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with up to two years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and its application in a business environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with timely resolution.
• Proven ability to build relationships and communicate confidently across the organization.
• Experience managing multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities for multiple entities.
• Own balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations, identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Lead intercompany accounting and eliminations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and expense insights for informed decisions.
• Partner with teams to improve processes and strengthen controls and transparency.
• Support audits with clear documentation and reliable audit trails.
