Pure Family Fitness LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This hands-on role focuses on general ledger, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations under the Controller, delivering accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel and QuickBooks skills, and a diligent, collaborative attitude to support audits and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2–4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies.
• Review general ledger activity for accuracy and proper classification.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Support audit, tax, lender, and year-end reporting requirements.
