Job summary

Crete Carrier Corporation is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting team in Lincoln, NE. You will participate in monthly close, reconciliations, and financial analysis to drive accurate reporting and informed management decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting and strong communication skills; an internship or related accounting experience is desirable. This full-time position follows a standard 8am-5pm Monday-Friday schedule with on-site work in Lincoln.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly close procedures and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile cash, prepaid expenses, receivables, payables and other accounts.
• Analyze account fluctuations and explain to management.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and communicate findings.
• Analyze profitability by customer and report to management monthly.
• Assist with external audits as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
