CLAAS FARMPOINT in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a Senior Accountant to perform professional accounting and financial analysis for GAAP-compliant reporting, month-end close, and budgeting/forecasting. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support management reporting across the organization.

The role requires strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to handle high-volume tasks. Travel may be required; domestic and international, with a valid passport.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and policy application.
• Perform journal entries and reconciliations with accuracy.
• Month-end/year-end close and reporting support.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Inter-company accounting and audit support.

Responsabilités

• Exercises independent judgment in interpreting policies and making impactful decisions.
• Completes outgoing invoice reconciliations and timely review of A/R aging.
• Oversees payment of incoming invoices in ERP; coordinates with submitting employee as needed.
• Interacts with internal and external auditors as required.
• Supports GL postings, journal entries, and month/quarter/year-end closings.
• Assists Head of Business Administration with budgets, forecasts, and five-year plans.
• Performs daily banking reconciliations and tax liabilities payments.
• Processes equipment invoices with Sales department coordination.
