Corporate Hiring Solutions Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Chelmsford, MA team. You will prepare financial statements, maintain journal entries, and reconcile the general ledger while supporting month-end close processes.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of staff accounting experience, proficiency with QuickBooks or SAP, and advanced Excel skills. CPA progress is a plus; you will work in a collaborative environment focused on accuracy and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in staff accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with audits by preparing supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting processes.
