• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field is required.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills across the organization.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset and problem solving.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly financial close process by independently identifying and processing journal entries for consolidation.
• Review the trial balance and financial statements for proper recording and classification of transactions.
• Partner with other departments to ensure internal controls are followed and statements are accurate.
• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries.
• Assist in balance sheet reconciliations and support branches/subsidiaries with documentation.
• Provide high levels of customer service to Branch Managers and Regional Directors.
• Communicate accounting procedures to operations and ensure branch compliance.
• Assist in the annual audit process.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and complete projects.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
