Job summary

Ats Family in Marietta, GA is seeking an Accountant to support the Corporate Accounting function, including cash, GL, and month-end close processes. You will help improve reporting, automate processes, and maintain internal controls using ERP systems, Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and post cash transactions and general ledger entries with supporting docs.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor cash activity for accuracy and proper accounting treatment.
• Prepare schedules, workpapers, and account analyses.
• Support month-end close across multiple entities/business units.
• Assist in financial reports and audit support.
• Collaborate with AP/AR/Payroll/Treasury to resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze data to support management reporting and ad hoc requests.
• Maintain ownership of balance sheet accounts and variance analysis.
• Develop and enhance reports and templates using Excel/Power BI/ERP.
