Job summary

LJB CPA in Dallas seeks an Accountant to serve as a trusted partner to our clients—handling day-to-day accounting with precision, care, and a high level of service. You’ll manage the financial backbone of client businesses, freeing leaders to focus on growth and purpose.

You'll drive month-end close for multiple clients, reconcile bank accounts, support AP/AR, and assist in preparing financial statements and client reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in client accounting services, bookkeeping, or public accounting.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a client-first mindset.
  • Excellent communicator, able to translate complex financial info clearly.
  • Ability to juggle multiple clients with grace and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple clients.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Maintain general ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and customized client reports.
  • Assist clients with budgeting, cash flow analysis, and forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve clients' financial processes and systems.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to answer questions and provide insight.
  • Support CPA partners in tax prep, advisory services, and financial reviews.

What You'll Do
