CV Resources, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Staff Accountant in California to support cash management, AP/AR, and month-end close. You will be proactive, organized, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced finance team.

The position covers journal entries, reconciliations, cash forecasting, and vendor/customer billing tasks, with collaboration across departments to ensure accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable/receivable or GL experience.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software preferred.
• Familiarity with expense management systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash activity and maintain supporting documentation.
• Prepare cash-related journal entries and reconciliations.
• Initiate ACH and wire payments.
• Research and resolve banking and payment issues.
• Assist with bank account management and cash forecasting.
• Complete bank reconciliations and post journal entries.
• Process invoices and prepare payments.
• Ensure proper approvals for expenditures and vendor communications.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and maintenance.
• Support employee expense reporting and corporate card programs.
• Coordinate with external vendors on accounting matters.
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on collections.
• Respond to customer billing inquiries and maintain records.
• Process purchase orders and support operational accounting needs.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and month-end close.
