Job summary

NOVOS FiBER in Dallas, TX is seeking a highly analytical Staff Accountant to support capital project budgeting, month-end close, and strategic financial analysis for NOVOS FiBER and PRIME FiBER. You will own CAPEX tracking, WIP management, depreciation, and GL coding governance in NetSuite, ensuring accurate, timely reporting to department heads and project managers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1–3 years of experience, with strong GAAP knowledge and advanced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of corporate accounting, FP&A, or fixed asset management experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and fixed asset accounting rules.
NetSuite experience preferred.
Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Index/Match, dynamic pivots, financial modeling).
Excellent communication of financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Track CAPEX and fixed assets across projects within NetSuite.
Prepare monthly budget-to-actual variance analyses for department heads.
Manage invoicing, milestones, and contract compliance with vendors/partners.
Analyze spend trends and support month-end close with accruals and reconciliations.
Ensure GL integrity and proper coding for projects and tasks.
