gFiber is seeking a Capex Accounting Manager to own capital accounting for a multi-billion-dollar fiber network. The role focuses on ASC 360 PP&E and ASC 842 lease accounting, with responsibility for policy, system ownership, and cross-functional partnering with FP&A, Tax, and Operations.

The position requires strong SAP experience (FI-AA, PS, MM), data pipelines in SQL/BigQuery, and an ability to mentor a growing team in a fast-moving environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Current or past certification as a CPA or CA.
• 8 years of progressive accounting experience in a capital-intensive industry including ownership of PP&E and lease accounting (ASC 360/842).
• 2 years of experience operating SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA), PS, and MM.
• 5 years of experience owning month-end close and supporting external audits under US GAAP.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end ASC 360 PP&E and lease accounting from capitalization through close, disclosures, and audits.
• Own ASC 842 lease accounting from classification to disclosures and financing analysis.
• Own SAP footprint including FI-AA, PS, MM and PO-coding architecture for capitalization, tax location and reporting.
• Build and run data and reporting layer with SQL/BigQuery pipelines, accrual automation, large-scale reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Grow, mentor and develop the team.
