Job summary

Formic Technologies is seeking a Senior Accounting professional to support audit readiness, month‑end close, and accounting operations across a fast‑growing Robotics-as-a-Service business. You will drive accuracy, timeliness, and scalability of financial processes while partnering with Supply Chain and Finance teams.

You will own journal entries, reconciliations, and documentation, with a focus on continuous improvement and rigorous financial insight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, month‑end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience supporting financial audits, audit readiness, or external auditor requests.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including comfort working with supporting schedules and account reconciliations.
• Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive work to completion.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Audit Support & Readiness: respond to auditor requests and coordinate materials across systems and stakeholders.
• Month-End Close & General Ledger Accounting: prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules; improve close deliverables.
• Accounting Operations & Process Improvement: partner with Supply Chain Manager on inventory management processes; document recurring processes.
