Job summary

The Staff Accountant role at LHH in Tulsa, OK is a full-time, onsite position designed to broaden an accounting professional's experience beyond traditional duties. The person will support accounts receivable, purchasing activities, inventory accounting, and critical month-end close functions.

You'll work closely with leaders across the organization in a business casual environment, leveraging Excel and ERP systems to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1+ years accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel proficiency and analytical/organizational abilities.
• Effective cross-departmental communication and multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Customer Accounts: set up customers in ERP and accounting systems; process and maintain invoices via portals and internal systems.
• Oversee Receivables: review aging, follow up on balances, support collections, resolve payment discrepancies and refunds.
• Process and reconcile daily cash: record ACH and checks; assist with cash and receivables reporting for finance teams.
• Administer Procurement: create and maintain purchase orders; coordinate with internal departments for approvals.
• Support Inventory Accounting and Close: prepare inventory journal entries; review transactions and costs; assist with counts, reconciliations, and closes.
