Job summary

The Concours Club, a premier members-only motorsport and luxury resort in Miami, seeks a Staff Accountant to maintain financial records, own the accounts receivable process, and perform reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–4 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. Multi-entity and hospitality experience are a plus.

• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle from invoice to payment.
• Prepare and distribute member statements and invoices accurately and timely.
• Apply member payments and maintain accurate member account records.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with members, tenants, and operational departments.
• Prepare monthly AR aging reports for management review.
• Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries.
• Maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts.
• Record accruals, prepaids, amortization, and other month-end entries.
• Ensure journal entries are properly documented and approved.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation schedules with supporting documentation.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations as needed.
• Respond to internal accounting inquiries.
• Coordinate with Operations regarding billing and receivables.
• Provide backup support to Accounts Payable when necessary.
