Job summary

Haga Kommer Ltd. is a leading CPA firm delivering tax, accounting, and business consulting services across multiple states.

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our Minnesota office in Perham to support client engagements and maintain accuracy in financial data. In this role you will perform general ledger reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Qualifications

Minimum Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
4+ years of experience required.
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Accounting services for clients including AR, AP and Reconciliations.
Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Prepare and post journal entries timely and accurately.
Financial statement preparation of monthly, quarterly or annual financial statements.
Develop strong working relationships with clients through personal attention and timeliness of service.
Communicating with clients as a trusted professional with information requests.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Accounting services for tax clients.
