Job summary

Warrior Insurance Network (WIN) is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role supports key accounting functions including accounts payable, monthly commission processing, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close activities, and financial reporting.

The position offers a collaborative environment, opportunities to support the in-house Printing Department, and involvement in annual 1099 preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting, accounts payable, or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Maintain the centralized AP email inbox.
• Prepare and distribute vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with the monthly agent commission process.
• Prepare and enter journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and related analysis.
