Job summary

First Class Air Holdings LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant in Louisville, KY to support day-to-day accounting operations. The role covers AP/AR, vendor and customer invoicing, and month-end close in collaboration with the Controller and other departments.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, reconciling statements, preparing journal entries, and assisting with audits and process improvements. A Bachelors in accounting and 2–3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 2–3 years of AP/AR focused accounting experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and ability to learn proprietary software.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, time-management and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Quantum ERP, QuickBooks or Sage 300 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices in ERP and manage deferred receiving.
• Match receivers to PO/RO and supplier invoices; resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and prepare month-end close for AP/AR.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments; support audits.
• Assist Controller with special projects and process improvements.
• Maintain organized vendor and customer files.
• Support internal departments and respond to billing questions.
