UofL Health is seeking an AP Specialist Accountant to manage invoice processing, employee reimbursements, and GL coding audits. The role includes training departmental AP staff, vendor setup reviews, and 1099 processing, among other duties.

Ideal candidates will have five years in AP or related accounting, strong ERP and MS Office skills, and a keen eye for detail. This on-site role supports the finance team across the health system.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or general accounting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounts payable processes within an ERP environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to work in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software.

Responsabilités

• Ensures daily electronic processing of invoices and expense reports via AP software.
• Verifies invoice information and documentation before coding and approval.
• Coordinates weekly check processing and disbursements with proper remittance.
• Responds to vendor and internal inquiries and provides problem resolution.
• Maintains vendor files and communication with vendors and internal departments.
