Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, and reconciliations, in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 3+ years of accounting experience, with ERP and Excel skills (VLOOKUP). Payroll exposure is a plus, with primary responsibilities outside payroll. Monday–Friday first shift in Gainesville, GA, with salary range shown.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, billing, and general accounting support.
• Experience with ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and data reconciliation functions; QuickBooks and/or NetSuite experience preferred.
• Exposure to payroll processing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Manage billing, invoicing, and cash application activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support general ledger activities.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections efforts when necessary.
• Support payroll processing and payroll-related administrative tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting-related questions and issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflow efficiencies.
