You will analyze data, prepare GL entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close while guiding entry-level staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum two years of accounting experience; financial institution preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, financial statements, and month-end close procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies, research issues, and document accurate resolutions.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including cross‑department collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and guide entry‑level accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, reconcile, balance, and maintain assigned accounting records per GAAP and policies.
• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with other departments.
• Support senior staff in completing accurate monthly general ledger close.
• Manage assigned GL accounts, reporting schedules, and reconciliations with documentation.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, schedules, analyses, and management documentation.
• Communicate with internal/external partners and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist with regulatory and ad hoc financial reporting and data compilation.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to entry‑level staff and perform other duties as required.
