Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant in Washington, DC. This full-time, in-office role is onsite four days per week with one remote day, reporting to the Controller.

You’ll contribute to accounting operations, gain broad exposure, and have opportunities for growth in a collaborative team. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience) and 2–5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and ERP system familiarity

Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Onsite 4 Days/Week | Paid Parking Provided

Our client, a premier Washington, DC-based organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its close-knit and dynamic accounting department. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity (onsite four days per week) that offers professional autonomy, strong benefits, and a supportive company culture. As a Staff Accountant, you'll report directly to the Controller, gain broad exposure to accounting operations, and enjoy opportunities for increased flexibility as you prove yourself.

Compensation: $55,000-65,000 base salary +$5,000k bonus potential

This position is onsite 4 days/week with 1 remote WFH day!

Ideal Background for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance preferred OR relevant accounting experience
• 2-5+ years of accounting experience, accounts payable, invoicing, billing, etc.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technology experience with various ERP softwares; Oracle NetSuite and Concur preferred
