Job summary

Our client in Washington, DC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a close-knit accounting team. This is a full-time, in-office role with four onsite days per week and one remote day, reporting to the Controller.

You will gain broad exposure to accounting operations, with strong benefits and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate has 2-5+ years of accounting experience, solid Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite and Concur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance preferred OR relevant accounting experience.
• 2-5+ years of accounting experience, accounts payable, invoicing, billing, etc.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technology experience with various ERP softwares; Oracle NetSuite and Concur preferred

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Controller and participates in month-end close activities.
• Contributes to accounting operations and provides cross-functional exposure within the firm.
