Job description

This role is to provide a high standard of service in key financial administration. Ensuring timely and accurate reporting in line with the company's financial closure working with deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Perform monthly analysis on Manufacturing variances in reference to standard cost
• Assist in coordinating budgeting and forecasting process
• Assist in the coordination of annual financial statement sign off w/ auditors and internal management
• Lead coordination of Payroll process optimization
• Perform continuous assessment of the month-end close process to reduce the timing required to close the financial period
• Participate in other projects as required

Education and Experience:

• BS degree in financial, accounting or related field
• 2-4 years’ experience in financial reporting
• Experience w/in Med Device/Pharma/Manufacturing industry is preferred

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
• Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing environment variances
• Solid communication, technology, organization, and analytical skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
• Strong organization and time management skills

Additional Job Requirements:

• Travel 10%
• Candidates must be able to successfully pass background and drug screen investigations.
