About the Role

This is a 6 month project. Are you an experienced Staff Accountant with a knack for numbers and a passion for the tech industry? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team! We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage our financial information and ensure our financial operations are running smoothly. This role is vital to our company\'s success, as you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will also be in charge of reconciling accounts to ensure their accuracy. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow and thrive in a fast-paced, cutting-edge technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct regular ledger procedures.
• Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for both general ledger and statutory accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports.
• Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
