Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and prepare the annual budget, collaborating with various departments to forecast future revenues and expenditures.
• Utilize SAP software to streamline accounting processes, generate financial reports, and analyze financial data.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits and reviews.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
• Provide leadership and support to junior accounting staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. A Master’s Degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
• Proficient knowledge of SAP software is a must.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
• Exceptional skills in budget planning and financial forecasting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
