Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Staff Accountant

Nemsys LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role is responsible for core accounting functions — general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, and financial reporting — while also supervising the Procurement & Inventory Manager to help ensure purchasing and inventory practices stay aligned with company budgets.

This position is built for growth. As Nemsys continues to scale, the Staff Accountant will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in financial planning, compliance, and reporting, with a clear path toward a senior finance leadership role over time.

Compensation & Benefits

• $45,000 – $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

• Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local financial regulations.
• Support audit preparation and coordinate documentation for external auditors.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Procurement Oversight

• Supervise the Procurement & Inventory Manager.
• Review purchasing activity, vendor contracts, and inventory controls.
• Ensure procurement practices align with budgetary goals and operational needs.
