We are currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.
This position will report to the Corporate Controller and will work closely with the corporate finance team based in Austin TX.
Ability to read, understand, and apply written instructions, emails, and business correspondence. Strong written communication skills are essential for drafting professional emails, reports, and internal documents. The role requires the ability to clearly present information in one-on‑one and small group settings with employees, customers, and vendors.
Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Comfortable working with percentages, ratios, and basic financial calculations. Familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry is necessary for tracking expenses, reports, and various administrative tasks.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to follow written, verbal, or visual instructions accurately. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities. Attention to detail and sound judgment are critical, particularly when handling confidential information.
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands for typing and other office-related tasks, and communicate clearly. The employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, or lift office materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision for computer work and the ability to adjust focus as needed.
