Job summary

Culfus Financial Services (CFS) in Eagan, MN is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our onsite team. This full-time role covers AP/AR, payroll, journal entries, and month-end close, with opportunities to lead system migrations and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, strong Sage experience, and a hands-on, detail-focused approach in a growing construction materials and industrial services environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a small business.
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR, payroll, and month-end processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hands-on environment.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working onsite.
• Experience with Sage or similar accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily AP/AR activities and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and support month-end close
• Assist with payroll processing for union and non-union employees
• Reconcile accounts and support basic financial reporting
• Participate in system migration (Sage 50 to Sage 100) and process automation initiatives
• Support operational and cross-functional projects as needed

Compensation: Up to $80,000 + Bonus + Profit Sharing
