Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 1–3 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• ERP systems experience preferred.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills; VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivots; macros a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and ask questions to understand operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes with journal entries.
• Review expenses at cost center level for accuracy and trends.
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are calculated, supported and reconciled.
• Involved in external and internal audit activities.
• Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of balance sheet and income accounts.
• Participate in process improvements and new systems implementations.
• Assist in SOX documentation, controls, reconciliations and changes.
• Provide timely responses to internal customers across functions.
• Handle ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes including preparation of journal entries
• Review expenses at a cost center level for accuracy and understanding of key trends
• Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are properly calculated, supported, and reconciled
• Involved in all aspects of External and Internal audit activities
• Perform analysis as well as assist in reviewing or enhancing analysis and analytical processes and controls
• Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of certain key balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives seeking out opportunities for improvement and implementation of new processes and systems
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal SOX documentation and controls, reconciliations, monitor operational/industry/regulatory changes and develop new processes and policies to accommodate accordingly
• Provide timely responses and deliverables to requests from internal customers from functions including Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Supply Chain, Technology, and department owners
• Perform other job duties and ad hoc projects assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• 1-3 years of experience in a full-cycle accounting role
• Experience and working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems-preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Must have advanced Excel skills with proficiency with Vlookups, Xlookups, Pivots and Macros are a plus
• Eagerness and curiosity to learn more and willingness to ask questions to develop understanding and gain proficiency of business operations
