Job summary

Satoindustries is seeking an Accounting Professional to join our dynamic team in Rincón, Puerto Rico. The role involves full cycle accounting duties, monitoring bank balances, and preparing financial reports. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 2 years of experience in an accounting department.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, and can communicate effectively in English and Spanish. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual and fluent in English/Spanish preferred.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Full cycle accounting duties
• Monitor daily bank balances
• Bank and credit card account reconciliation
• Process invoices for fulfillment and customer payment
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly Income Statement Analysis schedules
• Review bills for accuracy and process timely paymentMaintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts
• Assist and improve accounting systems and accounting control procedures
• Prepare sales tax reports and tax returns
• Assist with special projects and analysis
• Other duties as requested by management
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
• Extremely detail-oriented and results driven.
• Identify and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Readily adapts to changes in the work environment by managing competing demands

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or comparable degree/experience)
• 2+ years of experience working in an accounting department
• Experience with QuickBooks
• CPA not required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong mathematical skills
• High-level reasoning ability
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (heavy EXCEL)
• Bi-lingual and fluent in English/Spanish (oral and written) preferred.
• Reliable transportation to work in Rincón, PR (remote candidates in Puerto Rico will be considered)
