Job summary

The Alta Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a fast‑growing real estate investment company. You will support accounting, financial reporting, and results analysis for real estate portfolios and construction projects, working closely with executive leadership.

This role offers exposure to multiple entities, strong mentorship, and opportunities to grow with the firm. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting experience, a solid GAAP foundation, and Advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (real estate, construction, or multi‑entity environments preferred).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Comfort working in a fast‑moving, acquisition‑heavy environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines across multiple entities.
• Advanced Excel skills are required; experience with real estate accounting software is desired.
