Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and GL adjustments.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and GL reconciliations.
• Analyze transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and other accounting ops.
• Maintain accurate records and internal controls compliance.
• Assist audits with documentation and schedules.

Experienced Staff / Senior Staff Accountant to support its accounting and financial reporting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger knowledge, experience with month-end and year-end close processes, and the ability to prepare accurate financial reports and reconciliations.

The successful candidate will work closely with accounting leadership to maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and improve accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger adjustments.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Analyse financial transactions and investigate discrepancies or unusual account balances.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting operations as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and account schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in staff accounting, general ledger accounting, or financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification.
• Experience in a Senior Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
