Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time, non-exempt role handles accounts payable, payroll backup, and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records for our nonprofit organization.
The Staff Accountant will process vendor invoices, support audits, grants reporting, and help strengthen internal controls while contributing to the community by ensuring fiscal compliance and efficient operations.

Full-Time, Monday–Friday, Non-Exempt / Hourly 8 am-4:30 pm
$21-$26/HR; Compensation based on experience
The Staff Accountant plays a vital role as part of our Finance Team. The Staff Accountant supports the organization's fiscal operations by ensuring accurate financial records in compliance with non-profit accounting standards. In addition, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for processing high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
