The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and at least 3 years of accounting experience, with strong Excel and Sage Intacct skills and solid communication in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career while contributing to the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This position will assist with the preparation of day-to-day accounting for the loan accounting department, including preparation of general ledger transactions, reconcile daily loans and financing transactions, perform procedures to ensure adequate accounting controls, and support the financial reporting needs of the organization.The Staff Accountant will also assist with month end and quarter end close, internal and external audit requests, and other projects as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the details of the day-to-day operational needs of a loan accounting department and has an understanding of mortgage lending processes and loan servicing.Principal Duties:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following.
