What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a talented individual with strong analytical skills, multi-functional experience, experience in accounts payable, and experience in accounts receivable. The staff accountant is a combination of recurring and project-based work and is an integral part to supporting the growth of APR Supply Co.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable for several vendors
• Complete the daily balances of the branch cash boxes and post any necessary journal entries
• Reconcile 3 bank accounts monthly
• Provide support for accounts receivable team
• Analyze credit card fees
• Support the month end close process

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for Success:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3 years of experience with a medium to large scale company
• Strong accounting and/or finance background
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills focused on data analysis
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Expected to work independently, working under the general direction of the Corporate Controller
• High level of professionalism coupled with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, and Teams
