Job summary

Snack Studios in LaGrange, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our in-office team. You will support clients by preparing financial statements and managing general ledger activity.

The role requires handling reconciliations, tax preparation support, and ensuring GAAP compliance, with strong Excel and QuickBooks skills. Monday–Friday hours with extended hours during busy seasons.

Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant will support our clients by preparing financial statements, managing general ledger activity, performing reconciliations, and assisting with tax preparation and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare business and individual tax returns
• Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Prepare payroll tax filings and sales tax returns
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve questions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent training and experience required
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Online and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and time management abilities

Work Hours:

• Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Extended hours during busy season/special projects required
• In-office position based in LaGrange, GA
