Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close by preparing journal entries and variance analysis.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaids, and accruals.
• Support audits and SEC reporting with documentation and data analysis.
• Perform ad hoc accounting and financial reporting projects as requested.
• Provide general accounting support to senior staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close by preparing journal entries and performing variance analysis
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaids, and other accruals
• Support audits and SEC reporting by preparing supporting documentation and analyzing data
• Perform ad hoc accounting and financial reporting projects as requested by management
• Provide general accounting support to senior staff as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 1 year of experience with month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis
• Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or currently working toward CPA licensure
• Public-company experience, including exposure to SEC reporting and compliance
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
