Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accounting functions at our Corporate Offices. The role focuses on general ledger closing, material billing, pricing maintenance, and inventory analysis.

You will work with internal and external auditors, support cost analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience is required, with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Close general ledger and prepare period-end reports.
• Perform raw material billing functions.
• Maintain raw material pricing and supplier contract pricing.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation and analysis.
• Perform cost analysis and support internal/external audits.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

The Staff Accountant will assist with the accounting functions processed at our Corporate Offices.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform Raw Material Billing Functions.
• Maintain Raw Material pricing, including formula pricing on supplier contracts.
• Inventory reconciliation and analysis
• Cost analysis
• Working with internal and external auditors
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 2 years of industry accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle accounting system experience desired.
• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• Team player; works well with others.
• Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task.
• Good math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
