Job summary

Darling Ingredients seeks an Accounting Manager to lead accounting activities in the CEC. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting for clients and vendors and ensuring timely processing of invoices and cash applications.

You will oversee AR collections, collaborate with facilities, and support external auditors while driving process improvements and control adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily AP/AR operations for clients, vendors and solutions.
• Reviews client-specific reporting and resolves invoice discrepancies with vendors.
• Oversees AR collections and cash applications for national accounts.
• Collaborates with facilities to monitor CEC account setups in Oracle.
• Prepares revenue accruals and supports auditors as needed.
• Ensures timely, accurate data uploads to customer portals.

Accounting Manager is responsible for all accounting requirements needed within the CEC. The position will require a strong desire to complete tasks and deliver solutions to the clients and vendors

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees the daily operations relating to AP and AR for clients, vendors and DAR PRO Solutions
• Reviews customized Reporting required by clients
• Researches and works to resolve invoice discrepancies with Vendors
• Manages AR collections
• Assists team with reconcile of payment applications
• Works closely with Darling facilities monitoring the CEC account setups in oracle
• Reviews monthly pricing for National and NSC accounts
• Prepares Revenue Accruals
• Manages and review of cash applications for National and NSC accounts
• Manages customer portals for Invoice and data uploads
• Assists in requests from both internal and external auditors
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting field, with 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Strong organizational skills along with problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills necessary
• Strong skills and vast experience in use of ExcelAble to meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
