Job summary

Darling Ingredients seeks a Staff Accountant to assist with the accounting functions processed at our Corporate Offices in Irving, Texas. This role supports general ledger activities, cost analysis, inventory pricing, and audits, contributing to accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or 2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 2 years of industry accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel required.
• Oracle accounting system experience desired.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger closing
• Perform Raw Material Billing Functions
• Maintain Raw Material pricing, including formula pricing on supplier contracts
• Inventory reconciliation and analysis
• Cost analysis
• Working with internal and external auditors
• All other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 2 years of industry accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle accounting system experience desired.
• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• Team player; works well with others.
• Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task.
• Good math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
